We inspect and replace timing chains and belts on VAG and BMW engines. Parts are selected by VIN, the engine is locked with dedicated tools and timing values are checked after assembly. Approximate timing marks are not acceptable where one error can damage an engine.

No. When both the parts and labour are supplied by us, we take full responsibility for the result and provide a warranty. With customer-supplied parts, responsibility cannot be separated: it may be unclear whether the part or the installation caused a problem. We therefore work only with parts supplied by us and remain responsible for the complete result.

We mainly use parts from manufacturers that also supply original equipment: suspension — Lemförder, Febi; brakes — TRW, ATE, Textar; bulbs — OSRAM, Philips. In some cases we deliberately avoid a problematic genuine part: EA288 glow plugs are BERU only, and the EA111 high-pressure fuel pump is Hitachi. We choose the solution that should not fail; avoiding a warranty return matters to us.
