If the air conditioning has started cooling poorly, switches on with a delay or gives no cold air after winter, the system usually needs proper servicing, not just "adding freon". At BRAVO MOTORS we use a TEXA 705R station, service vehicles with R134a and use high-quality Dupont refrigerant.

What the service includes

The station recovers the remaining refrigerant, vacuums the system, adds the required amount of oil and charges the A/C to specification. This approach is better than charging "by eye": in an A/C system, not only cold air matters, but also the exact amount of refrigerant and oil.

When nitrogen testing is needed

If the system was empty, quickly loses cooling performance or a leak is suspected, it is better to pressure-test it with nitrogen. A vacuum test does not always reveal a small leak, while nitrogen helps check the system safely before charging it with expensive refrigerant.

Important detail

We service R134a systems. If the vehicle uses the newer R1234yf refrigerant, this must be checked in advance by the sticker under the hood or by VIN.

Frequently asked questions

Can you simply add freon?
It is possible, but it is not always the right approach. If the system is low on refrigerant, we need to understand whether this is natural loss over the years or a leak. If leakage is suspected, it is better to test the system with nitrogen first.
Why does the price depend on grams?
Different vehicles require different charge quantities. The station work is calculated separately, while refrigerant and oil are billed by the actual quantity used.
Do you work with R1234yf?
No, only R134a. If your vehicle uses R1234yf, please check in advance by VIN or the sticker under the hood.
