DSG and S-Tronic oil change in Chisinau
DSG and S-Tronic do not tolerate approximate servicing. Each gearbox has its own oil volume, oil type, sometimes two circuits, and specific requirements for level setting and adaptation. Appointments: +373 22 93-11-88.
Why all DSG gearboxes cannot be serviced the same way
DQ200 is a 7-speed gearbox with dry clutches, while DQ250, DQ381 and DQ400e use wet clutches and a different operating logic. A mistake in oil type, level or procedure leads to jerking and accelerated wear.
Computer adaptation
On gearboxes where it is required, adaptation is performed through VCDS after the oil change, followed by an error check.
Frequently asked questions
How do you know which DSG is installed in the car?
By VIN, gearbox code, model and year. It cannot be determined reliably by appearance or by the number of gears alone.
Why is adaptation sometimes performed after replacement?
After servicing, the gearbox must correctly read pressure, temperature and engagement points. Adaptation removes jerks related to servicing, not those caused by wear.
